I’m Chellie LaFayette and I love making beautiful fused glass creations.
I started fusing about 10 years ago, but working full time and raising a teenager left little time and space to dive into this passion.
As an empty nester, I’ve got more space, more time, and a bit more income to invest in making.
When I’m not playing with glass, I teach elementary PE in the Seattle School District. I enjoy cooking, music, my scruffy dog, home DIY projects, riding my RAD electric bike and shopping.
I’ve made great friends via classes, and enjoy making with my “glass wife,” Susan Zarit of Zarit Glassworks. My life partner and actual wife, Linda Carr, supports my habit and some aspects of my business.
